Family and Senior Homeless Initiative is the faith community’s answer to Mayor Hickenlooper’s call for 1000 congregations to embrace 1000 homeless families as part of Denver’s Road Home. In partnership with the faith community of Metro Denver, Family and Senior Homeless Initiative helps homeless families and seniors, overcome the major obstacle of securing stable housing through mentoring and funding the security deposit and first month's rent. The Resource Allocation Committee
The Resource Allocation Committee is responsible for guiding the request for proposals process, reviewing applications for funding and allocating funding to nonprofit agencies that provide services that respond specifically to the goals, objectives and outcomes of the plan.
