Project Homeless Connect 6

Project Homeless Connect 6 (PHC6) will be held on Friday, May 9, 2008 from 9:00am-3:00pm in the Ritchie Center. In partnership with Denver's Road Home and the Mile High United Way, the University of Denver hosted Denver's fourth Project Homeless Connect (PHC4) on Friday, April 20, 2007. The event offered an innovative opportunity for the metro Denver community to help our homeless population access support and services. Homeless persons accessed medical care, employment and educational services, legal assistance, permanent housing, hygiene kits, and applied for Social Security benefits and food stamps.

Donation Meter Program

This program is designed to increase awareness about Denver’s Ten-Year Plan to End Homelessness, and is also an effort to redirect the money given to panhandlers into initiatives that provide meals, job training, substance abuse counseling, housing, and other programs for those in need.
